Kandi Burrus, Grammy-winning songwriter and star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta , has just released a statement regarding her finace, Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, who died from a head injury during a fight Friday night just outside The Body Tap Club, where he was part owner. “I am devastated by the loss of A.J.,”

the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said in a statement. “His death comes on the heels of the death of my beloved Uncle Ralph and with both of them gone, my heart is heavy with grief.”

    im so sorry this happend to you…be strong and put your feelings into lyrics…that is what you do best….i would hate to think your mom had anything to do with it…after watching the episode of your mom giving her “toast” at your engagement party…im not so sure….i know your mom loves you very much and i would like to think she is not behind this in anyway. Please continue with your album…i cannnot to see your work.

    My heart just breaks for you after the loss of your loved one. You and AJ seemed to be a strong couple and you were good for him. I understand your mother’s feelings as well. But I know she would have come around to seeing him as a good man and a man good for you. Be strong and I will keep you and those kids (all of them) in my sincere prayers.
