Since we first got introduced to the General, here’s some of what’s happened: • Jimmy Fallon imitated Neil Young singing a cover of it. • Gen. Larry Platt is called the General because of his work in the civil rights movement,

and he marched with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. • A poodle got called out for his choice of attire. • Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre covered it following their win over Dallas in the NFC playoffs. • And now, the General has ended up on ABC’s The View , complete with a great look: (Top that, William Hung.)
