We’re all hoping the new season of Smallville won’t be disappointing, as many might admit that the long-running series headed downhill.  Still, the CW is doing is best to increase the hype on the show and now it’s released the trailer for the ninth installment. Wow, nine seasons already?  It’s like an invulnerable cat that just won’t quit. 

But now that it’s about to use up its ninth life, what will come next?  Even so, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.  There’s the premiere of Smallville ’s upcoming run this September, and you can catch the preview after the jump.
